Omar: Hello, Hina. I’m Omar. How are you?
Hina: I’m fine, thanks. How are you?
Omar: I’m good, thank you.
Hina: Goodbye, Omar.

Choose a real time of day
Think of one real situation where you need this language. Say one phrase before reading further.
A useful chunk can work before you understand every word inside it.
A greeting opens, a goodbye closes
Hello and Hi work at most times. Hi is slightly more informal. Use Good morning before midday and Good afternoon later in the day.
“How are you?” is often a friendly greeting, not a request for a long health report. “I’m fine, thanks” or “I’m good, thank you” is enough.
Goodbye is clear in every setting. See you sounds friendly when you expect to meet again. A short conversation can use both.
Read both roles because real speaking involves asking and answering. The goal is not to memorise one speaker only.

How are you? کا مختصر اور قدرتی جواب کافی ہے۔
Keep the reply short and natural
Do not answer “How are you?” with only “Yes”. Give a short condition, such as fine or good.
Do not use Good night as an opening greeting. It usually closes the day or conversation.
Pause after the greeting. “Hello, Hina” is clearer than running both words together.
Put six greetings in the right place
Choose the phrase that completes the real task. Read the reason after a wrong choice.
Speak both roles twice
- Read Hina’s lines aloud.
- Read Omar’s lines aloud.
- Record the full dialogue twice, changing the names on the second turn.
Use the phone recorder. Replay once and check whether every task is understandable.

The conversation you now control
You can open a conversation, ask how someone is, give a short reply and close politely. The next lesson turns the greeting into a personal introduction.
