CinematiQ Pro Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 October 2026. Applies to CinematiQ Pro for Android (package com.metacyberguru.cinematicpro).

CinematiQ Pro is a camera app made by MetaCyberGuru LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15360398). This page explains what the app keeps on your phone, what it sends, who receives it and why. If anything here is unclear, write to info@metacyberguru.com.

The short version. Your photos, videos and sound recordings are never uploaded by the app. They are saved to your phone’s gallery and stay there. There is no account to create. The app does send usage analytics, crash reports, performance data, a device record and ad requests to Google services, described below, and you can switch analytics, crash reports and performance data off inside the app.

Your photos, videos and audio

Everything you capture or edit is processed on your phone and saved to your phone’s own gallery. CinematiQ Pro does not upload photos, videos, audio or edits to us or to anyone else. Scene analysis and shooting guidance run on the phone. Sharing only happens when you tap Share and pick another app yourself.

Location

Location is off unless you switch on location tagging. When it is on, the app writes your position into the photo or video file on your phone, the same way the built-in camera does. We do not receive that location. Edited copies saved from Studio drop the location unless you choose to keep it.

Separately, Google Analytics and Google AdMob work out an approximate location (country or region) from your internet connection. That is described under “What the app sends”.

How long data is kept

The device record is updated while the app is in use and kept while it is needed for the purposes above. Analytics, crash and performance data are kept under the retention settings of the Google services listed. Nothing about your photos or videos is kept by us, because we never receive them.

Your choices and rights

  • Switch usage analytics, crash reports and performance data off at any time under More, then Your data.
  • Reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings, under Google, then Ads.
  • Uninstalling the app stops all collection from that phone.
  • Under UK data protection law you can ask what data we hold about your device, and ask us to correct or delete it. Email info@metacyberguru.com and we will reply within one month. To have it deleted, follow the steps below.

Delete your CinematiQ Pro data

CinematiQ Pro has no accounts, so we find your data by your phone’s device ID. The quickest way to send it is from inside the app:

  1. Open CinematiQ Pro and tap More, then Send feedback (under Help).
  2. Switch on Device report. It includes your device ID, and you can preview it before sending.
  3. Write “Please delete my data” and send. The message goes to info@metacyberguru.com from your email app.

If the app is no longer installed, email info@metacyberguru.com with the subject “CinematiQ Pro data deletion” and the phone model. Without the device ID we may not be able to tell which record is yours, and we will tell you if that happens.

What we delete, within one month of your request:

  • The device record: device ID, Firebase installation ID, advertising ID, phone model, Android version, app version and last-seen time.
  • Usage analytics linked to your installation, through Google Analytics’ user deletion tool.

What is kept: crash reports are removed automatically by Firebase Crashlytics after 90 days. Ad data held by Google AdMob is controlled by Google; you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings. If you keep using the app after the deletion, a new device record is created the next time it starts. Your photos and videos are not affected, because they were never sent to us.

Children

CinematiQ Pro is meant for people aged 13 and over. It is not designed for children, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If the app starts collecting something new, this page changes first and the date at the top is updated.
