Android Tools / BROWSER-ONLY UTILITY
Java and Android Crash Outline
Separate the exception chain from surrounding log noise before inspecting the relevant code. An outline preserves useful locations without pretending to know the bug.
Paste a small stack trace or choose a local text log. Messages and ordinary log lines are omitted from results, but parsed code identifiers remain visible. Limit: 100,000 characters.

Technical details (optional)

Supported outline
The analyser recognises Java-style Exception and Error headings, Caused by headings and at method(Source.java:line) stack frames. It also records textual markers for FATAL EXCEPTION, ANR and selected native crash signals. The output lists original log line numbers so you can return to the evidence. It is not a complete parser for every logging platform.
A deepest cause is still supplied text
The last recognised Caused by type is labelled as the deepest supplied cause. That does not establish the underlying programming mistake or prove that the pasted chain is complete. A library may wrap an exception, logs may interleave threads and a frame may refer to a different build. The analyser does not resolve any of those questions.
Messages are not copied into the outline
Exception messages, process names and ordinary log lines can expose account identifiers or credentials. They are omitted from the output. Class, method and source names are retained because they locate the supplied frames, so an outline can still reveal internal project details. This is not comprehensive anonymisation; review the result before sharing it.
Use the right follow-up evidence
Obfuscated traces need the matching mapping file, and native backtraces need appropriate symbols and tooling. No deobfuscation, symbolication, source inspection or application execution happens here. Input is limited to 100,000 characters, 5,000 lines, 100 exception headings and 1,000 parsed frames. Unknown formats produce a limited note rather than a guessed fix.
